I was not at all pleased with this tent. I used it for one trip and will not be using it again. Firstly, when putting it up to test it, there were no tensioning straps on the ring and pin system which made inserting the pins into the ends of the poles nearly impossible, I couldn't do it myself and my Dad who is much stronger than me struggled to do it too. When putting the tent down we noticed that a few poles had spilt.
When we tried to put the tent back into the bag the bag split too, even though we hadn't been forcing it in, so we weren't left with a very good impression, and that was just from putting it up in the garden.
When we actually went away for two nights the tent was still just as difficult to put up and we also noticed two 10cm tears in the flysheet, which we had no idea where they had come from. Having already patched up the poles and got a new bag for the tent and now patched up the two holes on the tent we wondered what else could go wrong, and for a while, nothing did, infact we were pleasantly surprised by the lack of condensation in the tent, although that may have been down the the huge gaps between the flysheet and the ground which I'm sure would have been great during heavy rainfall.
On the last day we noticed that there were tears appearing above the zips on the inner tents - this was the point where I gave up caring with the tent and vowed to buy a new one when we got back.
If we'd had no experience with tents or camping before I could probably understand some of this happening, but we are quite experienced campers and have used a range of tents so this was definitely the tent and not user error! I would definitely avoid this tent like the plague!
