This was our first tent which we bought in 2011 - it was fantastic value and we bought the canopy, ground sheet and carpet to go with it.
Having never pitched a tent before I watched a video on youtube and then managed to erect in about 45 mins. Everything is colour coded making it fairly easy to put up and down - although definitely a 2 man job.
There are 4 of us (2 small children) and it is very spacious especially with the canopy - a godsend to remove dirty and wet shoes and clothes!
We have been extremely unlucky with the weather since buying this - during the 2 trips we have made in it we have had torrential rain and high winds but can report no leaks and it never moved.
Would recommend this tent.

Had a Tigris to begin our camping weekends and were so impressed with the Vango set up that we have upgraded to an Artemis for a bit more space and comfort. Like the side door entrance as it helps keep the interior clean with kids and stop the flow of outdoor to indoor.! Haven't ride our canopy yet so can't comment. Downside is that bedroom partition is not very secure and the pegs supplied are not child friendly but the addition of plastic fruitfully bottles sorted that one. Small issues really as this Tent goes up easily with 2 adults in 15 mins and down in not more and stays stable without lots if guy ropes for tripping kids. We've only used the one on the back for washing and to vent he bedrooms - great tent for family four for weekends or a week put a dog in canopy area next trip and consider that max :)

This tent is brilliant this is our small tent ( our other is a Breckenridge 600) this is the tent we use when we are not using our Breckenridge 600. The only downside to this tent is the divider between the bedrooms this would be better if it was a full wall but you have to option to use it as one big bedroom or split it into 2 rooms. With the canopy on this tent is fantastic a family of 5 could use it for the weeks camp. The internal pockets outside the bedroom door are a god send. The front door is the full width of the tent, easy to erect and take down, the canopy is also quite easy to erect and take down this tent is fantastic and I'm glad I bought it. The other brilliant thing about this tent is the guy ropes they each have their own velcro bit for you to use when you roll them up to stop them getting tangled

Brilliant medium sized tent. Currently have the Monte Verde 900 but wanted something smaller and easier to pitch for short weekend trips. Went away at the weekend for the first time and was not disappointed. We bought the canopy, carpet and footprint to match and were all great additions. Tent is spacious although more a five man than a six if sleeping on airbeds/campbeds. Like the fact the front of the tent zipped all the way round to stop draughts/water etc. Canopy was huge and plenty of space for sheltered sitting or cooking. Tent was easy to put up with only three steel poles.
Would definitely recommend.

We bought this tent in January 2010. We wanted an easy to pitch light weight tent that all 5 of us could sleep in.
We also bought the footprint and canopy to go with the tent.
The tent was tricky to pitch the first time but is now easy to put up, there is plenty of room for just a weekend but would be hard work if we were camping for longer in it.
We cook under the canopy which works really well.
The tent we now have is tent number 3, the first one leaked and went back to the shop, the second one was sold to us second hand(!) and went straight back, the third is fab! Apparently the seams on the floor of the tent may leak the first time but then the stitching swells and should not leak again. These seams are not sealed with tape. We were in heavy rain with tent number 3 and it was fine.
You can also buy a carpet to go inside but we just use a picnic rug, much cheaper.
I have rated this tent a little low because of all the trouble we have had, having said that, the tent is working well now and we are happy with it.
