Numbers are limited to just 5 caravans and 10 tents only and a booking is required to secure your pitch. We would advise booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Please note that access to the site is along a single track road and may be difficult with large caravans or motorhomes.
To book your pitch you will be required to fill in an availability request form from their website for your pitch and you need to write in the note section that you are part of the group attending from 11th - 13th July 2008. the site will then confirm by email and request the deposit from you, being £15 and non-refundable.
Once you have booked and had confirmation can you stick your name on this thread so we can keep up with the numbers.

If you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, just keep going till you go round the bend.
Lol, pleased you think so! I've never been myself but it comes highly recommended on here. The only downside seems to be the awkward access with a big caravan or motorhome - but I've booked it for summer so hopefully most of us can take a tent or something instead!

Here is a link to previous chat about the tight entrance to the site - please would anyone with a large caravan or motorhome read this before committing themselves.
Thank you.

Hi Caz, reading the campsite's own webpages and stuff on here it seems as if the owner will tow vans in or out of the site for £2 each way, which seems quite a reasonable charge to me. And worth thinking about as an option for caravanners who might rule this meet out otherwise.MT

They do indeed tow for you, and i must say i would definitely use this service if i went there with the van. The site is in a lovely position, our children really enjoyed it here.

Sorry, no chance of school hols or bank hol w/es - we are lucky to be getting a summer w/e on this site as it is so popular.
It is quite a long way from here, too, but I'm sure it will be worth it, and as the nights are shorter there's time to get there after school and get pitched before it gets dark.

Hi all, Stayed here this year and can confirm it's a excellent site, The access is tight but is manageable if you take your time, We have a 23ft van and the lwb frontera and the only bit we struggle with was the last turn by reception. Just send someone up the lane if you intend leaving with the van on the back. THERE ARE NO PASSING PLACES and reversing back in either direction would be pretty scary...Would love to come to the meet but have a big event at the end of that month..Getting married ! So gotta miss out this time...
