Montloue is owned and managed by Keith and Carol Stevens who, after visiting France for many years, decided to make their home in Brittany in March 2005. Everyone who has visited Montloue has enjoyed its tranquillity and found its position so convenient to see the real Brittany and meet the Breton people.
Montloue is situated in the south of Brittany within easy reach of the coast and less than a mile from the small village of Mellac. This pretty village has a boulagerie, Pharmacy, a small supermarket, bars and a Restaurant. The house is built of local stone reclaimed from an old chateau and stands in two acres of grounds. The gardens are secluded and peaceful and ideal for anyone who wants a restfully break. Guests staying are welcome to sit and enjoy time relaxing in the garden.
Once a week (weather permitting) there is a Barbeque with local produce including freshly caught fish and shell fish.
There is a pretty area for up to five touring caravans or motor homes and are for adults only. All have electricity available.
