Hi I am looking for a site on the river seven welshpool area or with in 30 miles or so, we live in the midlands (Walsall) and this way seems to be easier on the traffic !! have two young kids 11 & 12 so a park would be nice, and the river for fishing !!

Riverbend at Llangadfan, on a tributary of the Severn

Mellington Hall, Churchstoke - not on the river but got their own fishing lake

Smithy Park at Abermule is directly on the Severn

Mellington Hall is lovely, haven't stayed at the others.

Lucksall caravan park Mordiford , large pitches by river Wye , canoes and bikes for hire , 15 mins from Hereford town centre , i have caught Barbel to 13lb and Chub to 7lb from the river .

Sevenside right on the severn, and you can paddle in it just about 3miles outside Welshpool.

Site has statics and dorma accommodation, but you can actually park with the back door just a couple of feet away from the river, Beautiful.
