Yep heard from him a few days ago. He's doing OK, I'll point him in the direction of this post in case he wants to update you . Oh btw, he has had problems with his email, but his Thomson-caravans and yahoo one are working now
Ian
Never give up hope, l had the suprise of my life a couple of days ago when l received a reply to a private message l sent someone during 2013 on another forum l frequent.
The story went that my old friend had become frail and ill, needing the care of a Nursing home, and could not get online anymore.
Well fast forward nearly 30months, and my good friend is up and posting again, yes he was seriously ill, yes he has been into hospital for several months, and finally come back to live in supported housing after receiving a new Liver, thanks to a very kind doner family, and those wonderful people at the Norfolk and Cambridge Hospitals.
To say this has amazed me is an understatement, hes no spring chicken, although he has lead a very fit and active outdoor life, and longlivity runs in his family, his Mum is still alive at the good old age of 95!

Hi Mike, got a couple of messages about your post. Still here and not under the van, although it does need lots of attention. As Ian says been having problems with e-mail but sorted again thanks to Ian.
Not a regular poster on here these days due to the website taking off on a bigger scale and the FB page and forum being busier. You can still e-mail me through the yahoo or website address, just stick graham at in front of the website addy and it will get to me.
Joan is still doing a grand job of looking after me, had a really bad turn just before Christmas but slowly getting back up to par again.
Thanks to Ian and Jeff for getting in touch.
I really should pay more attention to ukcs now and again.
Thanks to Julia for the post as well, we should never underestimate both the kindness of donors and the great work that the NHS does, without them I would not be here either.
I nipped a nerve in my spine a couple of months ago and was unable to walk for a couple of weeks, but I am recovering now, although still a bit unsteady and quite unable to work on the van yet. At this rate it will be well into the summer before we can get away anywhere.
Am I right in thinking that the site at Mosshall Farm is now shut?
As far as I know it is still open Mike, will check next time we pass it for any info. Would be a shame if it closed, they still had signs up last time I was down that way a few weeks ago.
Thanks Graham, We were thinking about going over to East Calder to look at the 5th Wheelers that they had for sale and we were looking for a campsite nearby.
Mosshall would allow us to see the 5th Wheelers and visit you and Joan as well. However, someone said it had closed.
Anyways, no hurry as we are not yet ready to splash that kind of cash.
Hi Mike, just been doing a web check for the site and see they have a new website at Mosshall Caravan Park
Give them a call and see what they are up to, website is dated 2015 so looks hopeful, going to Edinburgh tomorrow for ATOS medical or the new equivalent, will try to have a look on the way back if I am up to it. ;)

Still vans on the site when I passed back end of last week.
Hi Iain, We were there a few years back and, at that time, many of the vans at Mosshall were used by folks working in the area and so although the site looked busy, it was really only full from Monday Evenings until Friday Mornings.
Over the weekend, although still full of vans, there was no body there except the odd tourist like ourselves.
So looking at Mosshall on Google Earth, although it still showed vans on the site, I was unsure whether it was still open as a proper caravan site or whether it had gone over to a local workers campsite.
However their new website does suggest that it is now a proper caravan park.
Glad to help Lobey, let us know when you win the pools and are heading to see 5th wheelers, you could get two and give one to a friend, (I do subtle as well lol)
Actually we could buy a 5th wheeler, but because of the set up at our garage, we could not turn it to get it into the garage.
People park their cars there and with a motor mover on the caravan, I can swing it through its own length so that is no problem, but a 5th wheeler demands much more room, room that just is not available.
If I was 20 years younger I would go for one like a shot and just find somewhere else to stow it, but we are a bit long in the tooth now and too near the end of our caravanning days to be thinking about splashing out that kind of money on such a luxury unit.
Our CoC will do us a few years yet before it goes to the scrappers.
