Hi everyone,
Does anyone use a transit custom 0r a medium sized van to tow their caravan, and have you ever had difficulty being accepted on touring sites with it being a commercial vehicle?

One site in London would not allow vans to be parked on the site. Tow in and pitch up OK, but the van had to be parked in the public carpark outside.

A few sites i have used would not allow signwritten vehicles, whether they were vans or pickups.

You will need to check before booking.

Always phone and book explaining your circumstances. Many sites have this rule as they do not wish to take "itinerant workers".

I have the double cab version no probs and i avoid sites that wont as there are plenty who will let you on. Both the clubs let you on .
