Just ignore Husband moaning about the amount of food and clothes yu have packed and thing of the big glass of wine at the other end when tent up and all husband asking where the nibbles are to go with drink!!!!!! need I say more(in the big box of food!!!)
go camping as often as you can. I think it is a shame such a lot of people go only once a year. our weather is that bad at times and camping equiptment can be soooo expencive when first starting so you want to get the most out of it as you can my advice would be to go every spear weekend you can, it's the best quality time you will ever get with your kids and loved one's and a great way for them to make new friends

i'll second the poster above. Just do it as a well known sports brand would say. Kids will play out as long as they have wellies and a raincoat. Go somewhere local-ish for your maiden voyage maybe then if its complete disaster you can go home and as many have said before and will again: TAKE WINE!!
If your tent is of a complicated construction and the tent instructions aren't sewn into the tent bag, take a photocopy or scan (for when you lose the originals), and put the originals into a plastic sleeve so that they don't turn to mush if you put the tent up in the rain!
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
