Hi All

I was wondering does anyone have any recommendations for a campsite around Bath / Bristol area for a week early April?

I have searched and seen a couple, but I would preferably like a campsite with a few toilets and showers, not just 1 or 2 for all. In the past I have found that set up problematic.

I am going to Bristol & Bath for 1 day each, I generally like to leave my Hiace pitched up, so good transport links nearby is fairly important to get back in the evening.

Thanks

There's a campsite at Bath Marina near the park and ride.

Many thanks, that one ticks the boxes, I couldn't see that on the UK campsite search!

If you plan to visit Bath and Bristol the Marina is perfect.

P&R buses to and from Bath leave from the P&R site a short walk from the site plus there are other buses to and from both Bath and Bristol from stops very near the site, including some night buses.

If you have bikes or are keen walkers it’s also on the Bristol Bath cycle path. Sadly there’s no direct access from the campsite but it’s only a very short ride/walk to get onto the path, with refreshment stops (pubs and cafes) on the cycle path itself.

Thanks for the replies.

I have settled on the Marina site, really ticks all the boxes and perfect for all the requirements of the holiday.

I checked and my Hiace is Bath clean air zone friendly as well (LPG), so don't have to vastly detour to get there, as I first thought!

The site is outside the clean air area Beware of the Bristol clean air zone
