Does anyone know of a small, garden style, quiet, campsite in the West Country with good facilities (actually I mean near perfect facilities!)& level/levelish pitches with hook-ups?

The West Country is a big place. You could try The Old Oaks at Glastonbury, an adults only site. The Bridge Campsite at Cheddar, also adult only. Binghams Farm at Bridport in Dorset...you've guessed it...adults only.

Most of the 'garden style' campsites tend to be adult only since a garden style isn't really what families with kids want.

I'd also vote for The Old Oaks at Glastonbury, a near perfect site with level pitches. We love it there hope to go again this year.

Thank you for the suggestions........we are thinking that we'll probably go for the adult only option...anything for a quiet life......plus we've used them before and the facilities "rock"!

I think OldOaks in Glastonbury has everything your'e looking for. Its a 1st class site and really peaceful. One of our favourites.

Old Oaks in Glastonbury is absolutely lovely for a peaceful break - have already booked two weekends with them for this year. If you want to go further down into Cornwall than Tretham Mill is also very good. Thetham Mill isn't adult only but old oaks is!
