We are thinking of going to North Wales on the May Bank Holiday weekend and would particularly like to visit Portmerion (I'm a big "Prisoner" fan).

Anyone know any good camsites nearby ? Preferrably within walking distance of a pub!

Tyddyn Llwyn is a great site - there are some quite slopey areas - we liked it there though

We used to visit Portmerion quite often. We would park in a layby near Boston Lodge Station (Ffestiniog railway)and walk over to Portmerion. There was a sign that said 'Private' as the path enter the Portmerion estate but there was never anyone to challenge you and you would get in for free.
Because the Prisoner was filmed there, if I should now go in my Caterham 7 I can now get in for free any way
