lake side pitches are hard standing and just in behind is the grass pitches that tents use, beautiful place, great fishing, and everyone is friendly but getting booked up we booked lakes side beginning of july for 10 days, have to move off hardstanding for the last 3 days off hols, we aare well annoyed but keep ringing to check for cancellations, but we getmore annnoyed when empty vans are seen parked up during the week on the hard standing, ok they may have paid for seasonal but these pitches are like well popular. and the three days we have to move off is tuesday,to friday!! Sorry will get off my soap box now!!1
i love to sit and read!!
Why not go to the C.& C.C. site at Norwich... There's a lovely little stretch of the upper River Yare, beside the site (Roach, Chub, Dace, Perch and even a few Carp)...
About ten minutes or so drive away from the site, there are some beautiful gravel pits at Bawburgh, Costessey & Taverham. All have Carp, Tench, Bream etc. to very big sizes and many of the best pits are available on 'day ticket'...
Norwich is a lovely city, with very good shopping centre, malls, market etc., where your wife can spend all your money, while you're fishing!...
thats the reason why i want her so close to me andy hahahaha. Thanks for the ideas guys will check them out.we just thought it would be nice to be able to camp next to the peg i fish from, have a bar b , the lovely lady likes to sit and read and chit chat to me . Will keep looking .
Yes i saw you was looking for the same as us, myself and the kids like to fish and the mrs likes to chill in a chair but its nice when we can just sit and chill with a BBQ and a couple of beers whilst fishing at the same time.
When are you thinking of going away???
