this is the closest i could find.

I dont think  there are any within walking distance of Saunton, as 1 reviewer said the road to Saunton does get very busy high season and there are no pavements. But Saunton is a fab beach  - even when its busy there is loads of room.

Croyde might be better for you if you want walking distance as there are more campsites around croyde bay.  Putsborough is also a nice beach,

Hi

We have just returned from Freshwater Beach http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=1205 although in high season could be quite rowdy when we left on Friday it was about half full on touring pitches and with the little darlings starting back at school next week it should be OK in that respect. It is on its own private dogs allowed beach and has a small river where if your dog swims in the sea you can rinse it off in fresh water. Although it has a club as it is the end of season it should not be too noisey. There are plenty of walks to do with dogs along the coast to the East you can walk along the cliffs to Burton Bradstock beach and beyond and to the West you can either walk along the beach or over the cliffs to West Bay. Anyway if you read the reviews you will get a good idea what the place is like.
