Hi All,

  Wishing you all a belated Happy and Healthy New Year.......

Can anyone recommend Moor view, we really fancy trying this site, have looked through reviews, but would appreciate any comments you may have.....

Hi Tres, if you mean Moorview in south Devon then i can fully recommend this site. All pitches are hard standing and fully serviced if a little tight oin space on the smaller ones.. The facilities are first class, the views great, and the owners are friendly and helpful There is a pub within walking distance (be aware the road to it has no pavement) which serves great food.

We have been to this site many times and have never been dissapointed. The final couple of miles to the site are somewhat narrow and care is needed .

We stayed at Moor View a couple of years ago, the pitches were quite narrow and you did feel very close to your neighbours compared to other sites we visit,other than that we loved it! It's a very quiet site set in beautiful countryside, good facilities and a nice dog walk. I'm not sure what they sold in their small shop, we used the garage just up the road, they had a mini supermarket and sold everything!

It's in an ideal area for touring South Devon. Salcombe, Hope Cove, Slapton Sands etc are all within easy reach. Bigbury-on-Sea and the beautiful Burgh Island are very close by, about 5 miles.

The owners are really nice too, we'd definitely return to this lovely tranquil site, it's top class!
