Thinking of going to Woolacombe/Ilfracombe in August for a week. Needs to be a site that accepts tents and dogs! We would prefer a site that doesn't have a bar or restaurant or that kind of thing. Nice toilets a must!!!!! We went to Woolacombe about six years ago and are shocked as to how much site fees have gone up!!
We will be doing a lot of walking as we are taking the dog.
Any suggestions much appreciated, Feel much better about going to a site that has been personally reccommended.

Cannot reccommend Warcombe Farm highly enough. They have the best ever toilet block, great playground and the Wardens are fab! The onsite cafe does a great brekky too!
There are no major facilities, i.e. no club house/adventure playground/crazy golf/bingo etc......but if you want to pay £40 a night, you can find those just down the road!
The pub in Mortehoe is great too, very scary lady behind the food counter but worth the terror for the food!
Morte Farm in morthoe just outside wollacombe is our dogs (and ours) favourate place, sea views from anywhere on tent field, can get a bit windy though so check the weather! We go back at least once a year, wonderful coastal walks right next to the site, Morthoe itself has cafe, pubs, chip shop etc and is just down the lane. Cant recommend the place highly enough

Hi. thanks for reccommendation Pabsy77. just had a look at Morte Farm link. Looks lovely. Unfortunately they don't take advance bookings for campers. When travelling all the way from yorkshire we can't really afford to take the risk of turning up and there being no spaces. So think it is a no no for us. thanks anyway.
Been to Damage Barton, the toilet facilities are suberb as they are upto the normal CC & C&CC standards, and you can walk down to Woolacombe via Mortoe if you are not a lazy bones. Only downside when we were there was the wind.
Been going to wolly now surfing around 5 years stopped at most of the sites in the area, if you like quite avoid Ruda.wooly sands and the wooly bay parks.Europa accepts groups so avoid.Stay around the Morthoe area some great walks for you and the Dogs.
The Chicester Arms does great food in the village You'll love the area.
There is a lovley walk round morte point we have seen seals and dolphins many times in the area.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
