Hi

I have been working all hours lately and really owe my fella one. i wanted to take him away for a weekend, which would be our first camping trip of the year. we are true fair weather campers, especially when only going for a weekend, and i am thinking of taking him next weekend (30/5-1/6) but the forcast keeps changing.

anyway, having waffled on i will get to the point - does anyon know if Clippesby accept people that just turn up and if there are ever normally pitches available as the deposit they are asking for seems a bit steep if the weather is bad and we decide not to go

We tried to book there for that weekend back in March and they were already fully booked so unless they have had cancellations you will be out of luck.  We managed to get booked into Kelling Heath and when I spoke to them yesterday they still had a few pitches available for that weekend.

We did manage to book Clippesby for later in the year - september when they have their beer festival
