nothing worse in a tent than full sun in the morning.
Loved the pitches we had at Catherine de Fierbois in the Loire (middle pic in gallery) and at Avit Loisirs in the Dordogne (top pic - morning shade, eve sun) - so much so that we are going back to Avit Loisirs again this year and have the pitch next door (couldn't get the same one even though we booked for August in January!)
Hi this is gonna seem like we are really miserable but we tend to look for adult only sites, we have no kids and dont have alot of patience with them. Moorside at Strensall near York is a lovely site with really friendly helpful wardens
