Hi Ya Helpful People :D

We have recently purchased a twin axle 27ft caravan. Now we have the worry of the size of pitch we get or if sites will accept us!

Could anyone recommend me some caravan sites that have bigger pitchs?

Help much apprechiated

Hi Bikerlady

We have a 26ft twin axle and have not encountered any problems so far booking onto sites.

I find when booking to ring and check about pitch sizes as sometimes sites will only have certain pitches allocated for vans this size.

We live in the Lake District and have stayed at several sites Lowther Park, Waterfoot, Troutbeck CC and all take twin axles.

Happy Hols in your new purchase.

Thank you for your reply domag123.

I'd taken to looking into motorhome forums to find campsites that will take the length of the caravan lol

We have been to quite a few sites with our old single axle van, never even gave the twin axles a thought back then, but thinking about it now, your right! Its just the pitching the blummin big thing up thats the next worry lol

Us!   No problem with a 27' caravan. Easy access too.
