Hi

My favourite is C & CC site at Keswick - direct view/access to Derwentwater and surrounded by fantastic mountains.  Also easy walking distance into Keswick

I would agree with that, great for view and convenience to Keswick and surrounding area.

I love Keswick too, one of my favourite sites ever, but as an alternitive with fantastic mountain views its got to be Eskdale, in Boot.

Castlerigg Hall Keswick. One of the best campsites we have ever been to.( we have been 5 times!!)

The CC Grange-Over Sands site Meathorp Fell has the lovliest views over Morecombe bay.  It was about 10th choice for us at Easter and we were doubtful put it was perfect, views, piece countryside and a pub you can walk to what more could you want?
