Has anyone been to this park ? What did you think ?
I am looking to go away for a couple of days at the weekend and this site interested me but the website dosnt tell me a lot ... as in the cost and whats around to do etc.
If you have been there do you know anywhere really nice not to far from the Wirral ?
we are a young ish couple with a dog.

we stayed there 2 years ago and the site it self is OK but there's seems to people who go there all the time in small groups and if they don't like you complain the the owners 1 night we were in the awning talking as kids were in van asleep no TV or music and were told next morning we were to load we were in bed by 12.00 and only 2 of us when we got back told friends about it and they that they had heard of similar story's about it when i left feedback on their own website mine was never posted.
Try Home Farm Park near Benllech on Anglesey. Are you in a tent? Some lovely views and settings on the camping fields,we did a lovely walk from the site down to LLigwy(sp) beach along the coast path up into Moelfre and back along the road with our dog and the kids a couple of weeks ago. there's a pub down a long drive on the right as you come up out of Moelfre but cant remember the name!
Sorry to read about you not being happy at my park......yes we do enforce a Late Night Noise policy, and I'm sorry but its suprising that after 11.00pm noise really does carry. We don't remind people of this rule for the fun of it.
Utimately we do this so that everyone gets a decent nights sleep, but like everything in life, you can't please everyone all the time!!
we are a couple in our 40's daughter was 9 years old and foster child we had at the time was a 9 month old bady so the caravan door was open all the time we were in the awning so we were not being loud, we were in bed asleep by 12.00 and in 4 years of caravaning have never had a problem we didn't complain when the vans around us were starting there cars and leaving them running shouting and banging doors at 8.00 in the morning to go out for the day and why wasn't our feedback placed on your website it wasn't a bad feedback most was positive apart from being unhappy about being told off we still think it wasn't us who were noisey but another van close but were not given the change to protest only told my reg would be taken and if we returned we would be warned to keep it down, we only return to sites we like so there will not be any reason to warn us upon return, don't know who it was we spoke to and perhaps it was a member of your staff and not yourself
I am usually very very careful to make sure the correct person(s) are told about any late night noise.....just for this very reason is its not nice being accused of something you didn't do!
Can you contact me directly on 01978 780 277 - I can then pull out the file on this, and see what was written to get to the very bottom of this.
This seems like a case of mistaken identity, and apologise profusely for this situation.
hi brookie i havn't anwsered because i didn't know you had replyed sorry i will not be calling as we have no intension of staying at your site again weather it was a mistake or not we were not given the chance to defend ourselves at the time and you still havn't said why our feedback left on your website (which wasn't all bad only about the noise the rest was good) wasn't printed but feedback (all good) was we havn't sl*gged your site off just stated what happened to us and feedback from friends good and bad and by inplying because i hadn't anwsered you i was dishonest!!!!!!!!! this is the first time i've seen your reply Madtrucker
You say that you have not been given the chance to defend yourselves.......well on a public forum like this one, you have had a good enough stage to do this now. I have also offered you to talk to me "one2one" to settle this, but as you say, you have no intension of staying here again. I'm sorry that you feel this way.
As for your feedback on the website, just as has been shown, I would always want to discuss matters with any unsatisfied customers.....this is the best way to solve any issues. If you were in my shoes, you would fully understand why you would not want any "negative" issues to be left as a review as it would have shown only one side to the dispute.
Best to take this up direct with each other now, and keep this off the forums. Madtrucker you have Johns contact details so if you wish to continue him, please do it direct.
