Hi all

We've just come back from Ty Nadan in Brittany staying in a static with Matthews Holidays. This site is lovely, set in countryside with a river running through and plenty of outdoor activities for us and kids (12,10, 5) such as treetop adventure park, zip wire, canoeing, table tennis, badminton etc. and of course the lovely swimming pools.

Does anyone know of any similar site in the UK? (not center parcs!) It would be great to find a similar site with similar activities without having to travel so far! Don't get me wrong, we have plenty of holidays with our trailer tent and just a field to occupy us but this was particularly nice as the kids get older.

Thanks for the suggestion - yes we've been to Fisherground and the kids loved it - Ty Nadan is more of a holiday centre a bit like a camping version of Center parcs but cheaper and less hemmed in. Just wondered if there was anything near this in the UK. I suppose Brighouse Bay in Dumfries and Galloway does something a little similar but with less facilities.

what about sandyballs i have never stayed there but always thought it would be nice.

I have just looked up River Dart Adventures and it does look really good - I will be considering booking for next year!
