Hi we are looking for a last min camping gettaway but on a serious budget. We're not bothered about all singing and dancing facilities but toilets essential and showers preferred. We are in the Northwest and would not want more than an hour or so's drive.
Can anyone help?
Linny

sounds like you need a C&C club CS site, we have just booked one for a stopover for 5/night, ok no showers or EHU but we dont mind.

Some do have showers but will be basic maybe at around 12/night with EHU, i would maybe plump for the lakes, there's 100's of sites just for you, however watch the weather, I guess it will be muddy at the moment!!!!

Depends weather you want ehu,if your not bothered then Gibraltar Farm,Silverdale is great showers and loos ok,bout 15min off J35 M6 we pay 15 a night, but you might get away with 12.50.

Another site we`ve yet to try is Rough Heys at 10 a night and if you get there early enough you can have ehu for 2,50,thats Halifax area.

I`m always on the lookout for sites for weekends that aren`t too expensive!!

Thanks, we're not bothered about EHU for short trips!
