hi we are looking for a great site for children we have 4!!! aged 1, 5, 6 and 8 we live in ashbourne so dont mind travelling for about an hour! we have got a new tent and want to try it out this weekend before we go in our big family holiday to cornwall in august! i would be very grateful for any help

Hi Kerry, we're in Ashbourne too. 

I've done a search on the map with an area of 20 miles.  Have a look at the reviews and see what you think.  Not camped that close to home so not sure where to recommend.

I've not got round to going there yet, but i've heard lots of good things about Callow Top at Sandybrook or there's Birchwood Farm at Whatstandwell which is lovely - got a great play area and space for the children to play, woodland to explore etc.
