Hi, all, after searching the whole day for the best site for camping in Dorset, decided to go to East Fleet just to find out that it is fully booked on the 2nd August for 4 nights.
I am so disappointed as we will be coming from Scotland and would like to see Bournemouth beaches. We are a family of 4, 2 kids ages 9 and 11. We are very new to camping had some weekends in Scotland only and would like to try or a longer time in a bit further place.
Hope anyone can recommend a nice place with really clean toilets,,and near the beach.
Thanks

East Fleet is quite some distance from Bournemouth & its beaches!
You may of course be generalising the area. There are nice beaches nearby, although many are pebbled rather than sandy!
You'd do well to try further along the coast from Swanage, Wareham, Poole, Bournemouth & Christchurch in order to be nearer Bournemouth & sandier beaches!
Try Norden Farm at Corfe Castle. Nice farm sitewith some of the best beaches in England nearby and much closer to Bournemouth. Especially if you use the chain ferry.
When I spoke to them recently they had space.

Our Son had been trying too and to be perfectly honest I think you will find it nigh on impossible to find a site with any spaces at all especially near to the beaches. We booked for The Inside park at Blandford Forum for 2nd -11th August. We made the booking in February and they were struggling to find us a pitch even then. Dorest/Devon and Cornwall are the most popular places in the country and in the school holidays it is almost impossible to find anything. Sorry to sound a killjoy but I have been trawling the sites as well for son John ,,He has ended up coming as a pup tent on our pitch at The Inside park!!
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
