Hope somebody can help as I seem to have been searching for ages!!  Does anyone know of a campsite within 2-3 hours of Luton which has a shallow stream where children can play, and also allows campfires?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The one I just stayed it in Llanfairchechancantspellwelsh names just off the A55 between Conwy and Bangor has both. However the stream is fenced off so you can't play in it.

They do allow camp fires though being in Luton night be a bit far though!

I dont know how long it would take you to get to Nantcol waterfalls, thats exactly what you want.  Took us 5 1/2 hurs from just outside Norwich.  An absolutely beautiful site though and kids were playing in the stream all day.

Llyn Gwynant fits the criteria, it's in North Wales, but according to Google, it's about a 4 hour journey from Luton.
We loved our last trip there.
