Another vote for Ashbourne and The Tissington Trail.

There are several sites around that have easy access on to the Tissington Trail.

Rivendale has access to the trail, just 100 metres from the site entrance

Naburn Lock near York has a good cycle track nearby and you can cycle direct into York. Also Keswick C & CC site, it's not far to the C to C track.
