I'm looking for some 5 star sites in and around South/West/Mid Wales, for a couple without kids.
Preferably without the clubhouse and entertainment stuff as we tend to like the quiter sites.
Can't be doing with noisy neighbours so want to keep away from the kiln parks kinda sites, but do wish to have a bit of quality at the same time.
Thanks in advance.
PS found one In the River view touring park in pontardulais if anyone is like us, thoroughly recommend it.
It even has an adults only field down by a running stream....total peace and relaxation :)
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Try looking on the adults only section of the camp site search. It's always worked for me.

Not sure if you are a member of the C&CC but Rhandirmwyn in Llandovery is a wonderful campsite in beautiful surroundings. Exceptionally clean and well thought out facilities. There is a river than runs past the site as well as a large dog walking field that leads onto a walk by the river. If you are after peace and quiet then this site is perfect. There is however no mobile phone signal. There is a nice pub in walking distance and the local village shop visits the site with essentials.
Thanks everyone for the above sites, will def take a look at them.
Do you find that the certified sites are of a higher quality? And is it worth joining such clubs like the C&CC for a 5 star, luxurious and peaceful surroundings?

------------- Visit Llandrindod Wells! Great scenery, walks, cycling, red kites. Ideal for exploring Mid Wales.
Very quiet site, brilliant facilities, spotlessly clean, very pleasant friendly owners, and very good prices. We also got a refund, even though we didn't expect one, when we decided to come home early due to the weather. First class.
