Hi all,

Looking for an overnight stay enroute to Pembrokeshire to break the journey up. Not fussed about the site and faciities as it is just somewhere to stop really. It will be on a Saturday night and I am finding it difficult to find a site that will take a 1 night booking in the 6 weeks hols. If you know of a site in this area please let me know. It is for a caravan.

Not M50 but Roadchef services at Pont Abraham (end of M4) has overnight parking at £19 for 24 hours, services aren't 24 hour though! We always call here when we visit Pembrokeshire as it's easily accessible and smaller than most services.

Sorry guys- travelling from Newcastle was looking for maybe somewhere along M50, poss Ross on Wye area nut open to any sugestions enroute really, just to break up the journey a little.

MacsMrs- thanks for you reply but my Mrs won't stop at a services- I suggested that before we started looking but she says no and its not worth my while not to listen if you know what I mean. Services would be the easiest option though.

There is a lovely small site, Marlbrook Equestrian Centre near the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire not far from the motorway which is worthy of more than a 1 nighter really.

There is a cl just off the m5 as you get on to the the M50. At a place called ripple.
Also the Blackmore caravan club and Blackmore camping club site next door to each other. Near upton on Severn .
I am not sure if this is half way for you . It is about .3 1/2 hours to Pembrokeshire from there I think.
But someone else may be able to add to this.

There is also the Ketch caravan site at Worcester but this is adults only due to its proximity to the river Severn. Not sure if you have kids with you? Otherwise there is another site called Riverside in Powick which is just a bit along from the Ketch towards Malvern.
