I've been trying to find low priced campsites, can someone tell me, is there a way to find them more easily? My budget is to stay as close to (if not lower than) £10 per night. I'm looking for sites all over the UK. Thanks

Club CL/CSs (Caravan Club Certificated Locations and Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Sites) as well at C&CC Temporary Holiday Sites, tend to be inexpensive.
Although club CL's and CS's may well be inexpensive you obviously have to take into consideration the large membership fee you have to pay in order to join each and every year. Depending on how many times you go camping that could add considerably to your total outlay.
There are, thankfully, still inexpensive campsites around and for solo campers especially, sites that charge per person are usually pretty good but I have not seen any lists of these.
I wouldn't call £40 odd membership fee for each club "large". We pay each year specifically in order to use Cls/CSs. Some are still as cheap as £10 (just been to one in Horncastle), but if you need loos and showers they are more likely to be in the range of £13-£15, sometimes a bit more depending on area.
There are a few cheap (or used to be) independent sites and I can recommend Meerbrook Equestrian Centre in Worcestershire which has facilities too.
Seven Acres CS near Stroud in Gloucestershire is cheap and has a loo and washbasin.

I would...I suppose it depends on how you look at it or what your income is. To a person with little income it's astronomical!
I look at it in this way though...if I can only manage to get away camping for 8 nights in the year, that is an extra £5 a night on top of whatever pitch fees I have to pay. That to me is astronomical!
I know, but plenty of folks use sites that are £20 or more per night. So for 8 nights you are paying £160. 8 nights at £10 + £40 is £120, assuming of course that you are prepared to stay at a CL without loos or showers.
Surely it depends on what the OP is wanting in terms of locations, loos/showers, etc.? With CCC outside of high season you can just about manage a pitch - grass, no EHU - for a tenner on their sites, let alone a CS, but you have to pay the £42 membership fee. For the OP, it might well be worth joining and it clearly works out well for those who can get away more often, limited budget or not. However, £42 is a lot for someone on a limited budget who may only get a few nights away - last year, I managed two nights (okay, personal circumstances) on a CCC site, which was astromical!!

Just booked a week at Castle Brake in Devon for £10 per night for fully serviced hardstanding pitch. Discount for ukcs plus discount for senior citizen plus early in season, first week in May. Also booked second week in May at Tregarton Park Cornwall for £8.50 per night with leccie. If you can get away in term time there are some good deals to be had......Mick
This lovely little site is the cheapest we've been to so far... £7 per adult, £4 per child, £3 for leccy... and no mention of "minimum occupancy", so I guess that means £7 for a soloist? And no other extra charges (that I'm aware of)... be it for a second car, showers, awnings, dogs or visitors!
There's no luxurious 5* heated amenities, but the far-better-than-basic facilities are spotless, and serve their purpose perfectly.
We've been again since my review, and are almost certainly going for a third time in a couple of weeks time, as Muckerette fancies re-doing the very pleasant (and flat!) cycle ride into Mablethorpe.
2 nights x 2 adults for £28... That leaves £2 for do-nuts on the prom!
Thanks for the excellent replies, I'm going to be touring the UK with my caravan, so the cheaper sites are, the longer I can keep going lol! I love our beautiful country and want to see much more of it. Toilets and showers are preferred for longer stays, but I'm still happy to stay at other sites for a few days.
Check out Park Resorts website, you can get cheap pitches for as little as £4 a night. I have one booked for June 4 nights for £16. Can not really go too wrong with that.
They can be busy sites as they are a holiday park with Caravans and tents but they do have some good facilities on site.
