I have my eye on this site as a stopover to/from South Devon for Christmas, but some people complain about the slope. Has anyone who has been or knows of it any comments? We would stay at Lorne Hill if it was open all year. Any other sites that I may have missed? Newbury is not quite far enough.

Not been but their website has a small Gallery of photos. The camping field looks ok? and there are large fields on all sides & you don’t get big fields on steep slopes (machinery, soil erosion etc). But the club (CCC ?) website will have reviews too.
Sounds an interesting place, I’m all for that kind of conservatism farming.
