Roseview was never a CL though. Yes -Awkward minor road up & over the hill, though now a bit straighter through new housing.
Mind, you are talking of 13 years ago & these wee sites come & go.
Try looking at the site search map? it might jog your memory, though I can’t see any likely sites 'just south' of Oban except Roseview & the ones along the shore (but not A816). I look up my own reviews when I can’t remember a site name.
