this site is so Tranquil and located perfectly for a trip in to Buxton, Nice shower block and pitches are really spacious just a pitty it is closed for 2024 with no explanation as to why having spoken to Chris who looked after the site last year he as no idea as to when or of it will reopen which is sad as it is such a nice site.

Yes, all shut up, large 'lego bricks' across the entrance now. Things seemed to go down hill for them after Covid, so may be the reason for it closing? Nothing on their FB page since 2022.

I do hope this is true. We'd been going for 10 years and loved the place. I know the owners had sold their house and moved to Canada. The site was being run for them by Jan's brother Chris. Was just really disappointed there was no explanation given.
