2025 will be our first full year with our caravan and we want to use it as much as we can. As tent users we tended to only go away in the summer holidays so are excited to be able to go over the other school holidays. We like campsites with lots to do, like swimming pools and activities, happy to pay for the extras. We live in Manchester so are looking at a maximum of 3 hours drive from there. An idea of campsite that are like centre parks but where you can bring your own caravan. Any ideas? Thanks

Holgates Silverdale
We stayed on a much quieter site nearby, but this looked like might suit when we drove past.
I think Holgates is a chain, so there may be other ones in your radius.
I tend to avoid sites with "activities", however, I would recommend which is an independent site with its own lake and lovely walks from the campsite itself:

I can't imagine anyone having more diametrically opposed priorities to us. Being retired we avoid all school holidays and the kind of sites you are looking for. However, I hope you find just what you are looking for, as I'm sure there will be someone on here far more helpful than me.
We are all different, thank goodness. We nearly always use small sites with electricity but often no other facilities. Hope you find what you're looking for.
Have a look at the Plassey in Wrexham. It has a pool and some other activities. I haven’t been, as we prefer quiet sites with nothing but a decent toilet block, however, friends have been with their kids and think it is great.

This is a small site with about 25 pitches (all hard standing). The site fees are very reasonable. Toilets are kept very clean. No activities or club house on site. However you will find lots of activities within easy reach of the site. This might be worth having a look at.
Check out the review/video (by For the Love of Caravans) of the site at the bottom of the website home page and the some ideas for activities in the area on the 'Local Area' tab.

Thanks for the suggestion we have already booked there for Easter, I was hoping for some other ideas for the May half term and October. If not we will do the different Haven sites around the UK. We went to Presthaven October 24 and really enjoyed it.

Didn’t realise you were just wanting other Haven sites. And you had also stipulated within 3 hours drive from Manchester.
Two “Holgate” sites in Arnside have pools etc. And other companies in UK run holiday parks. So you’ll have plenty of choice. The reviews on UKCS will help too.
