We stayed there a few years ago, (post lock-down), and liked it well; other reviews from that period reflect our experience. We're wondering about visiting again with family but both here and on some other review sites there's a bit of a gap, then only very few reviews, and those much less favourable.
Hopefully people just haven't got round to writing - I always mean to but sometimes time slips by - but if it's indeed suffering from badly cleaned facilities and less welcoming management that's discouraging.
Any up to date experience welcome, please.

No experience but I checked elsewhere for recent reviews: there were about 10 reviews for this year so far & each one gave 5 out of 5. (The occasional 1/5 were older.) But I’ll sometimes criticise something that no one else has mentioned, or read some criticism & disagree. We all have different ideas about what makes the perfect site.
I’d say - keep to your plans. And post a review after you’ve enjoyed your trip.
