Hi, we were looking for a pretty, not too busy cramped site with room for the kids to play. Does anyone know of a (tent) site with a safe stream for the kids to play in. Have searched, and found nothing!

I would like poss cotswolds, midlands, or at a push new forest, lakes if nowhere else ( a bit too far really)

thanks...

If you don't mind basic facilities you could try here it has not only a stream but a HUGE waterfall too! Not too far off the midlands in welsh borders.

Burnbake is near Wareham in Dorset so close to the New Forest. Think I've read about there being streams at Buenbake site and know there are lots of really pretty little shaded streams near picnic areas in the N Forest itself as our kids played in them when we camped in that ara  couple of years ago.

One of my enduring memories is caravanning as a boy in the New Forest at a site beside the Balmer Lawn Hotel in Brockenhurst. There was a brilliant stream to either fish or paddle in just a short walk from the site.

Happy days!
