Wondering if anyone can help, we have booked the Thursday and Friday off work before the August Bank holiday so that we can have a nice long weekend away in the caravan. I know it is a bit late to try booking somewhere, but has anyone got any recommendations for a site within walking distance to a beach, walking distance to a pub and good walks nearby. We live in Leicestershire and ideally don't want to travel more than 3 to 3.5 hours, so we are probably looking at Norfolk/Suffolk area, however any ideas would be appreciated.
If you know of any really good sites that don't meet all our requirements (which are probably asking too much given the late booking) then we would be really grateful.

Hi Chris and Rea, Again no beech sorry, but a 5 star site and has availabilty over the bank holiday weekend. Within the the 3.5 hours travel time and beautiful pub and restaurant on site. We just booked and couldn't believe it.
Thanks Phil & Mel, but we forgot to mention we have a six year old with us as well, as much as we would love a weekend break on our own I don't think this is going to be possible. However will have a look at this site for shorter weekend breaks when we could ask the grandparents to look after our little darling. Thanks again
Really sorry Rick, just realised I got your name wrong, must be something to do with the fact that this is my last day of holiday after two and a half weeks in France. My brain is not functioning properly yet, I am sure it will soon come back tomorrow though, first day back in the office, can't wait :(

try manor farm campsite in east runton. there are 3 large fields there, one of which is dedicated to caravans. it's within walking distance of a beach, there's a play park and it's lovely.
