If you do not have a wireless enabled laptop or pda or cannot connect to a Wifi hotspot, the next cheapest option is to use a PCMCIA card, pop in your sim card provided that its data enabled via your provider and surf away, 3G or GPRS most decent PCMCIA cards swap between the higher and lower speeds without you knowing anyway.

Vodafone has the widest coverage i think and there are many PCMCIA unlocked data cards on eBay for you to choose from, this way you get to do all you need in UK and Europe as well.

Taking a piccie, trx to your laptop and sending off is very green isn't it

Hey,,, you could even record a camping home video doing exactly that and send it into Sky News like everyone else seems to be doing these days

PS.. Is there anything else on the box except UK Going Green these days!

Helen D's OH; I use an Orange SPV M3100 mobile/pda with 3G when I'm travelling in the UK and abroad - very few places you can't get a decent download speed. Best to have your email setup as a 'webmail' so you can access the server, read and reply to emails, delete the spam (hasn't the price of Viagra gone done recently) etc without dropping all your emails off the server. When you're back in the office download as normal. Always remember that mobiles have an 'off' button.

I take my laptop with me, I use it to watch DVD's and TV is saves space and it would be great to have a wee surf when its raining.
