The email address I used was hello at caravancovershop.co.uk they told me that the warehouse had placed my order on hold because of the area - highlands - was not covered by their carrier. Not sure if they would consider your area remote!!
Highlander Hi, thanks for that, there is no way they can say we are remote we are by Chester. I will email them now and hopefully santa will bring me my cover.
Hi Iv been on the phone to the citizens advice they told me to ring my bank and because it was over 30 days the caravan cover shop where inbreach of contract and i was intitled to a 'Charge Back' spoke to a chap at the bank who said yes no problem they would get my money and i would get a full refund even though i paid with a debit card and it was under £100. So if your in this situation please ring your bank and get your money back.
Oh i feel a lot better now i will be so carefull from now on who i deal with.
Its good to hear that you are getting somewhere with your order. I wonder if your delivery will appear now that the bank are involved? If it were me I would refuse to sign for it and get it sent back.
I had problems with these people, but eventually got my money back after sending a letter to the owners personal address that I managed to find. I also contacted trading standards and action fraud.
If anyone is having problems, message me if possible on this site and I will happily share the details I managed to find. I'd better not post them on an open forum though!
I believe the owner of Caravan Cover Shop reads this forum as he noted some of my previous comments I had made on the thread that was removed for legal reasons...
I'm new to these forums & have just found out there are 3 'topics' all with complaints about this company on here, but as they are titled a bit differently do not connect - search under 'all forums' to see all 3.
Today the VISA dept of my bank advised me to give email notice to the company that if goods did not arrive in 15 days I would seek a full refund from VISA. They said keep records of all calls & emails etc.
This is the first time anything like this has happened to me. I didn't expect it with a company selling caravan covers. Welcome to 2013!
