Some advice please..... we had a disasterious time camping last summer in cornwall and we have just bought a new tent, hi gear mojave 5 and porch. Can someone advise the best tent pegs to purchase please. The ones that come with the tent i feel are to flimsy

We use Delta ground anchors on all the main guy ropes these are the yellow plastic ones suitable for a lot of ground conditions, if the ground is too hard to get them in we use rock/hard ground pegs.

We use Deltas too. And have a selection of rock pegs, MSR Groundhog pegs (from my old MSR tent) and normal pegs for groundsheets etc and some metal angle pegs that came with the Cabanon.
How long have they had grey Delta's?
Why wasn't I aware?
Why am I thinking grey would be better/nicer/more manly, even though they get buried and covered in mud anyway?

You will find a lot of people on here will recommend Delta Ground Anchors,and I would not disagree.The best tent pegs I have ever used,but I still have a selection of rock,plastic,wire and various other pegs as ground conditions can vary so much.

Like many, I carry a variety of pegs, for a variety of ground types ... I cannot argue other than that Deltas are very good.
However, you should look at these, which I have found terrific in all sorts of conditions ... and, especially when it's very hot, saves sweaty metal bashing routines ... a cordless drill makes it all pretty effortless.
The only problem with carrying a good variety of tent pegs, is that I end up having to lend them out to my friends who come frankly underequipped with the bog standard plastic pegs that come with their tents!!
Steel v-pegs are also a good "all-rounder" like these
