We are proud owners of a Campingaz chef vario but have a random bit of metal stuck to the lid and we have no idea what it's for. No mention in the instructions or on any of the pictures on the box/ instructions. Anyone know what it's for?! I have taken a pic but can't figure out how to attach it to my post. Basically the bit of metal looks a bit like a handle of some sort (it's not the grill handle as that is separate with the grill tray!)

It's suggested on another site that it may be a safety feature designed to prevent use of the grill burner for heating/warming pans or plates directly above it?
Hmmm, still no idea how it would stop you doing anything as currently taped to the lid! Clearly I am being a bit thick as it must fit on somewhere, will have to get it out and figure it out!
