Hi,
I now they've been doing lots of work around the parking etc at Folkstone. The last time we were there (Oct and without van on back), it looked rather chaotic. I assume it's settled down now. I've looked on the eurotunnel website but can't see anything. My worry is that we are expected to go into those undercover '?self check in' areas with the van on the back? Or is there a different area/process for us caravanners? We've got the dogs too, I assume that check in place is still there?
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
The sheds are not open yet, pencilled in for November.
You loop round past them into a new car park for coaches, car/caravan and motorhomes.
Plenty of space with easy access.
Pet reception still in the same place as last year.

As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
We went in June and it was all ok for checking in. We have no dogs, but I did notice a sign before check-in pointing to Pet check-in. We have a MH now, but had a caravan before that. We used the self check-in every time and never had a problem with the caravan on the back.

That's not the bit the OP is asking about, It's the new drive through sheds for the biometric checking.

The OP was merely asking IF they were to go through the new sheds.

I've always found the Tunnel area to be relatively easy to use, and there are plenty of staff around to direct you. They will have thought of the size of vehicles going through, after all, they take coaches.
We sometimes do struggle with the signage but if you take your time to read them, it all becomes clear.

I know and I agree with what franbee has since posted; going through check-in etc is all very easy, quite well sign-posted and surely caravans and motorhomes will have been taken into account. FWIW I personally don't think the OP should be too worried about it.
