Depends where in Holland you want to be, we go over every year and we always stay at Delftse Hout (We have friends in Delft and Rotterdam). It is a great site and situated close enough to visit places such as Rotterdam, Amsterdam, The Hague and so many other wonderful places.

The area around Valkenburg is in the south east of Holland, one site we stayed at is Camping Gulperberg, it is a bit away from Valkenburg itself, but in a lovely area, no reviews on here, so their website link is:

I've stayed a few times at the Delftste Hout, and its fine, but expensive by Dutch standards.
www.recreatif.nl has lots of info for you, not just campsites,
and this one is also very good

I tried to get on to the first site but didn't get the right one, I think it has the letter 'e' missing and should be http://www.recreatief.nl/
As for Delftse Hout prices, I don't think they are all that different to a lot of the other sites in Holland. They also take Camping Cheques out of the main season which makes them a lot cheaper. We are going to a site just outside The Hague soon, and will be paying about 26 Euros a night and that is nowhere near peak season. Tried to have a look at prices for Delftse Hout for this year, but it only lists prices for 2007. For the same period it cost 23.50 Euros last year, so not much different. One other thing about Delftse Hout is that the toiletblock is absolutely immaculate, just about the cleanest I have ever experienced, it even has piped music! Yes, you should expect clean facilities, but as we all know that is not always the case, even on more expensive sites.
We are also going to stay at Gaaspercamping outside Amsterdam, which costs (for 2 adults and a motorhome) 22.50 Euros.
There are mini-campings in Holland which are similar to our CL's and CS's and are cheaper.

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
That worked for me too, thanks. I clicked on the Dutch version, and nothing happened and in the end my PC just closed down the programme. There may be a problem with it, but the English version is fine.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
