We are away 2nd july till 23 july 2010 staying 2 nights at La Bien assise going out and the same coming home for two nights but can anybody recommend any campsites around Le Mans for two adults and a caravan that also has fishing on site as well ? we have been travelling to france for the last 10 years but want to pitch up around Le Mans this year or the Sarthe region ? Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Sited on the river Sarthe you can fish from the campsite,it has a small swimming pool and is on the edge of a horse racing track cum sports field.
Very clean facilities and friendly staff.
It does get used by Le Mans enthusiasts and can be busy that weekend,but they have a large overspill field if it became fully booked.It may pay to ring beforehand the receptionist speaks good english.
