hello, were travelling down to argeles sur mer in august and want to stop for a couple of nights near or in limoges does anyone know of any good campsites please around this area

What type of site do you want? Do you have children with you and need a pool, restaurant, etc or would a smaller site do? There's a municipal site in Limoges itself which would be fine for a couple of overnights, or Chateau du Leychoisier which is a family site, with lots of facilities.
The Campsite at Limoges is alongside a lake and has a pool so might be fine for you. It had an above ground pool and is reasonably cheap. There is a supermarket nearby, and restaurants and bars. It's on the north side of Limoges, as is Leychoisier.

I can recommend Moulin de la Geneste, excellent reviews on here. Its about half an hour south of Limoges. English owners who are lovely, excellent for small children and near A20.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
