Our caravan insurance has come up for renewal.  We have had it on with the same insurers as our house insurance but now they are stopping the caravan insurance on the policy so weve gotta get some new insurance.  The caravan club seems very comprehensive but more expensive than others.  My question is are they worth it and do you recommend any others. cheers

"Caravan" magazine did a very good article comparing the front runners in the field, and I think it might be available over the internet. It was in May 2006. If you can't find it let me know and I will snail mail you a copy.

we had our caravan stolen last year,we were insured with e and l and they still haven't paid out as they are crooks!!!

How are they still in business, read so many on here saying avoid, there can't be any one insuring caravan with e & l now.

personally i think everyone that has had problems with the company should group together and take the company on!!! i know i am 13k down due to insuring with them!!

they even had the nerve to send me a letter offering me caravan insurance last month
