How do I place an advert?
Click here, then choose the category you want to place your advert in. Enter the advert details, and follow the instructions on screen. Once submitted the advert will appear on our website instantly. You will need to register if you haven't already, but it's free and painless!
What are the featured adverts on the main page?
Once you have placed an advert, you have the option to add up to 20 photos. Photo adverts will also give you much more chance to be seen, and will be listed first in their category. Make your advert stand out, and take advantage of this option. Your advert will then also appear on the front index page of the for sale section.
How do I edit an advert / change the price or details?
Click here, and you will see a list of any adverts you have placed. Simply click on the advert you wish to edit, then follow the instructions on screen. Your changes will take place straight away, and you will be able to then view your updated ad on the website.
How do I include photos?
Click here and choose your advert, then follow the instructions on screen. You can upload up to twenty photos, direct from your computer. If you are having problems uploading, please contact us.
Will my email address be shown?
No, when you place your ad, you have the option to be contacted via email, but your email address will be hidden, so will not attract spam!
How do I remove an advert?
Follow this link to edit your adverts. You'll see a list of your adverts - click on the one you want to remove. Scroll down, and select the option to mark it as sold. Press Preview, then ensure you press Submit to confirm the change. It will then be removed from the system.
How long will my advert be shown?
Once you have placed an advert it will remain on the website for up to six months. You can of course remove it at any time, or edit it if you wish to amend the text, or price etc.
What can I advertise?
Provided it's legal, and you are a private seller you can advertise your caravan, motorhome, tent, holiday home, or any camping and caravanning related equipment such as awnings, trailers etc. Commercial adverts other than those from approved accounts will be removed. The advert placer must ensure that information provided is correct and within the law. The creators of the UKCampsite.co.uk can not be held responsible or liable for anything contained within these adverts.
I want more info about an advert I've seen
Please contact the seller direct. You can contact them either via email by completing the contact form on the advert, or they may have left a phone number.
I have spotted a dodgy looking advert.
If you spot what appears not to be a genuine advert, please contact us, and let us know the details, so we can investigate.
