Description:
Fleurette Tamaris 42 – 1996/7 Model
Lovely 2/4 berth pop up caravan with toilet compartment. This caravan is easy to tow because it is lightweight and has a low profile of about 2m high when top is folded down. Gas/Electric hot water system. Fridge, Mains, 12 volt system. Lots of extras included such as specially made awning, Protec cover in green. crockery, cutlery, etc. We have not used the water system or the gas heating, but they are working as far as we know. The toilet works well. For cold weather, we used an electric radiator and an electric fan heater (included in sale). We will include all the original cushions, and also a proper double mattress that we installed in the front bedspace. There is a little very minor damage to the woodwork in the front left cupboard due to a water leak a few years ago – now repaired. It is currently stored on our driveway in central Brittany.
This caravan was made in France (see photo) and it has the door on the correct side for France,. At the moment it is not registered in France, but we think that getting it registered in France might not be too difficult. Otherwise, you can buy it and tow it behind a UK registered car.
