A small campsite on a small-holding, a mile from the Blue Lagoon at Abereiddy, with uninterrupted views of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park
Escape to a beautifully finished four star bed & breakfast and campsite small-holding with uninterrupted views of the north Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, located in a National Trust Conservation arena.
Relax and experience the magic of a holiday in the heart of Wales at this Pembrokeshire Camping site.
Leave the frantic pace of modern life behind and unwind around the camp fire enjoying the tranquillity of the Pembrokeshire coast.
We are less than a mile from Aberiddy beach and the famous Blue Lagoon, host of the Red Bull cliff diving championships, and a mile from the popular fishing village of Porthgain and the award winning ‘Shed bistro restaurant and ‘The Sloop inn family pub.
We benefit from clear skies unhindered by light pollution, it makes our campsite perfect for star gazing around a camp fire after watching the sun set into the sea at Abereiddy.
Twenty pitches Spacious by design. Six acres divided so neighbours don`t feel like neighbours.
Fire pit per pitch Each pitch has its own fire pit and bench. Logs available, weather permitting.
Hot showers A unisex luxury bathroom plus separate male and female blocks, three of each. Hot water always.
Wood-fired sauna For cold evenings after a swim, or just because the wind has come up off the sea.
Pizza shack Fired every summer evening, sometimes lunch in high season. Local toppings where we can find them.
Fridge & freezer A communal fridge and freezer for campers. Keep your milk cold and your gins on ice.
Dogs welcome On a lead and well-behaved. There`s a working farm beyond the hedge, so no chasing the goats.
Coast path access Ten minutes` walk to the coast path and a short scramble to the nearest beach.
A frequent bus service stops directly outside the location and runs to and from St Davids, Fishguard and Haverfordwest. This makes it the perfect base for walkers and hikers of the Pembrokeshire Coastal National Paths.
Scenic walks suitable for all ages and abilities directly from the doorstep, our pitches overlook a natural valley that leads to the sea. It provides a beautiful walk all the way to Abereiddy beach.
Bring your bikes and enjoy miles of backroads and wilderness, there are handfuls of back road routes to discover and most end up at a blue flag awarded beach.
If you`ve brought along a canoe or two, or even a boat, these can be launched at Abereiddy or a mile down the road at Porthgain, the local fishing village.
There is some great coastline to be discovered including untouched beaches which can only be accessed via the sea.
Nearby Attractions
St Davids, the smallest city in British Isles, is just down the road and boasts a wealth of ancient treasures and places to eat and drink.
The famous black sands and blue lagoon at Aberiddy Beach plus the idyllic fishing village of Porthgain.
There are some great pubs in a very close proximity. The fantastic `Sloop Inn` is located just a mile down the road at Porthgain, the small fishing village. It is very popular and servers some great food, often with evening entertainment over the summer period. There is plenty of seating outside overlooking the harbour and it is well worth a visit.
