Set amidst the Angus glens and the heather-clad moorland, Nethercraig is a beautiful, tranquil park where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The park really is in one of the most scenic and picturesque areas of Scotland, situated some 1.5km along a quiet country road off the B954 from Alyth. Surrounded by farmland, the park has stunning views over the Vale of Strathmore towards the Sidlaw Hills in the south and the rolling hills of the Glens to the north.
Touring and Camping
We offer exceptionally well spaced hard standing and sheltered touring pitches. Tents are also welcome.
We offer a range of accommodation from glamping pods, huts and holiday homes to luxury lodges, whether it be to hire for a relaxing break or to own your own slice of tranquillity, we`ve got something for everyone.
We provide free wifi. However, we are a rural park and therefore have limited connection available
There are plenty of water taps and bins discreetly located throughout the park so you`ll never be too far away. The washrooms are centrally located and provide ladies, gents and disabled toilets and showers, as well as a washing up room, laundry and ironing facilities.
The park features two children`s play areas, outdoor table tennis and a large sandpit, along with a football field and golf practice net for those who want a pre-game warm up.
The shop and reception are well stocked for basic needs and from time to time you can also buy fresh local produce and eggs from the neighboring farm.
Dog exercise area
Four legged friends welcome at Nethercraig...? Let your dog roam and play in our exercise area, available to guests staying on the park.
Glamping Pods
Each pod can sleep up to four people with a double bed and two singles. There is a small fridge, a microwave, kettle, heater and TV in each pod allowing you to live in luxury.
Shepherd`s Huts
Each hut can sleep up to five people with a double bed and a full size triple sleeper bunk bed (a double and a 3ft single on top). There is a small fridge, a microwave, kettle, heater
Our woodland walk starts next to the shop and reception. It follows a defined grass path and breaks off in places to form a network of paths throughout the woodland, enabling you to access the full 20 acres of trees and nature hiding within. It is generally easy walking with a couple of slopes on some paths.
Nearby Attractions
The park is wonderfully situated, being on the doorstep for walking and country sports yet only a few miles to the nearest town, and the big cities are easily accessible in under an hour.
For the golf enthusiasts there are three golf courses within 5 miles and both the world-renowned St Andrews and Carnoustie, home of the 2018 Open, are under an hour away.
