Wyreside Lakes is a family run business, situated in over 120 acres of farmland at the foot of the Bowland Fells in Dolphinholme, Lancashire.
On the estate there are 6 fishing lakes - with a superb stocking of coarse and pike and for walkers and those who appreciate nature, there are beautiful lakeside paths and interconnecting walks to Scorton, Nicky Nook and following the Wyre Way to name a few or the breathtaking walks you can follow.
We have a 4 star camping / caravan site (with 4 glamping pods) with a bar, restaurant and function room.
Our award winning campsite has a full range of facilities for overnight stays including grass electric pitches for caravans, campervans and motor homes and lush green fields for tents to camp on.
There is toilet and shower block, which are all free of charge to use, including a disabled/baby changing room (this room is kept locked so please ask for a key) and also an onsite shop and launderette, equipped with hairdryer and iron.
For the children there is a safe outdoor play area and lots of wildlife and a wood to investigate
There is entertainment every weekend in our Bar / Restaurant with our resident DJ & usually once a month guest artists and theme nights throughout the season.
Choose one of our pods at Wyreside Lakes for your short break or holiday and take in the calm and tranquil surroundings of the River Wyre, Bowland Fells, woodlands and many nature trails.
Our pods sleep 2, 3 or 4 people and we allow up to 2 medium dogs in our family pods but not the minipod.
The pod is an elegant wooded structure, offering a warm, dry, safe and secure environment for families to come to no matter what the weather. The best bit is you don't have to put it up when you get here! It is very well insulated in the walls with kingspan under the floor.
There are variety of way-marked paths through the Fishery around the lakes, through the onsite woods and into the surrounding countryside.
